I think he marked the transition between the two….which makes the steampunk Dr so important to the history of the Dr arc. He was the first to be a youthful, action hero Dr…one who could interact with his companions on a deeper emotional level. He paved the way for Chris Eggleston, David Tennant and Matt Smith…
I totally agree with you. When I played the role of the Doctor at a drama school production, I dressed as the eighth Doctor and everyone loved my costume. I had part of it on when mum was talking to you at the Asylum and you pointed me in the direction of David J Howe. I was very grateful for that Raven, thank you. It meant a lot.
