I hate bullying! I hate it so much that I wrote a children’s book that has bullying as the main theme. To show my support for the Bullying Prevention Awareness Month, I am giving away ten copies of Will Blyton and The Stinking Shadow the spooky paperback edition on Hallowe’en. Excellent plan. Get at least ten little would-be bullies to lay down their baseball bats in favour of books! That’s the stuff to give ‘em.
I don’t think it will work with the bullies but hopefully it might give some kids confidence to use their brains against the bullies. I think the only reason I didn’t suffer from bullies was that I learned early on to make people laugh and entertain them.
Oddly enough, at school I was quite confident and didn’t get bullied…only later in office life…but I got my own back in the end.
